Our Focus

We understand that child development does not happen in a straight and narrow path; Children are unique individuals and their development is uneven and varies from child to child. We have clearly defined ground rules that encourage children to move freely and explore their surroundings, by encouraging children to be kind to themselves and others.

Our free-play curriculum activities open children's curiosity to explore and discover while developing their capabilities for creative problem-solving. Our educators will give daily activities that will engage senses and inspire their spirits. In our program children will gain foundational physical knowledge by exploring their given environment: our thoughtfully curated spaces give children access to a wide variety of movements and tactile experiences. Over the course of their time at Knock Knock Daycare children will develop and advance through fine motor skills with ease. Our program combines indoor and outdoor play, this in particular, helps children learn from the natural world, while still developing patterns of behavior that will deepen their home life.

Our Four Main Criteria's

Knock Knock Daycare enforces a bilingual program; its environment provides children with an overall balance to grow and develop. Our pre-academic program sets the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Knock Knock is a child-centered environment consisting of the individual to small groups; utilizing socialization skills through free play where we encourage children to develop:

social and emotional skills,
language and communication skills,
movement/physical development skills and
cognitive (learning, thinking, problem-solving) skills.

Social/Emotional Skills

Language/Communication Skills

This skill focuses on giving our children the opportunity to recognize and control their emotions and behavior. They will be able to create and keep positive relationships with others around them, understand and navigate through challenging situations and solve difficult problems.

Language/Communication Skills

This skill focuses on teaching our children to communicate and express themselves with others around them. This will teach them to convey a message using sound, speech, signs, or writing. At Knock Knock, we are a bilingual program; therefore, this skill will be practiced in both English and Spanish.

Movement/Physical Skills

This skill focuses on the whole body, our children will be doing an array of activities to stimulate their growing bodies. We will work on their balancing, locomotor, and ball skills. This includes yoga, outside time, exercises, dancing, and many more.

Cognitive Skills

Movement/Physical Skills

This skill focuses on how a child thinks, explores, and interprets the world around them. This includes problem-solving, decision-making, remembering, and dispositions.
